Monaco Grand Prix Hospitality: Paddock Club, Yachts and VIP Weekends Explained

Monaco is not one product. It is a stack of them — every one sold months ahead, most sold quietly, and the difference between a good weekend and a great one usually comes down to two or three decisions made early. This guide breaks down the tiers of access, what they cost in time and attention, and how we build a weekend around them.

The tiers, in plain language

There are broadly four ways to watch the Grand Prix in Monaco: grandstands, private terraces, Paddock Club, and yachts. Each answers a different question.

  • Grandstands (T, K, B). Best value, best pure viewing angle for the corners. Bring your own catering plan — the day is long.
  • Private terraces. Balconies overlooking Sainte-Dévote, the swimming pool or the harbour chicane, with catering and open bar included. This is where most of our couples and families land.
  • Formula 1 Paddock Club. Roof-level rooftop view, gourmet catering by Alain Ducasse, pit lane walks, driver appearances. The full paddock passport, weather-proof, priced accordingly.
  • Yacht hospitality. A berth in Port Hercule for the weekend — brunches, race viewing from the deck, DJ at sunset, dinner on board. Best-in-class for parties of 8–30 who want privacy and continuity.

What most first-timers get wrong

They optimise for Sunday only. Monaco is a three-day event and the qualifying session on Saturday is often the most exciting hour of the weekend. Book a package that gives you access Friday through Sunday, and treat Thursday evening — arrival, dinner in Monte-Carlo, first walk through the paddock — as part of the experience.

How we price the weekend

Terraces start in the low four figures per person for the three days; Paddock Club sits materially above that; yachts price by berth and party size. In practice, we build a proposal around the guest count, the day mix (Friday–Sunday vs Saturday–Sunday), and where the group wants to sleep — Monaco, Cap-d'Ail, Beaulieu, or a villa above Èze. The right answer is rarely the most expensive one.

Best for
  • First-timers deciding between suite, terrace or yacht
  • Couples and families planning a full weekend
  • Corporate hosts entertaining 6–20 guests

Frequently asked

Can you still get Paddock Club a few weeks before the race?+

Sometimes yes. Late releases move through private channels every year; we track them and place clients in the same week they become available.

Is a yacht better than a terrace?+

For parties of 8+ who value privacy and a continuous experience, yes. For couples or families, a private terrace usually wins on comfort and cost.

Do you handle hotels and transfers as well as circuit access?+

Yes. Every Monaco brief includes hotel or villa, transfers, restaurants and, if needed, helicopter from Nice.

Need access to this?

One brief. Written proposal within four hours.
